Misery loves company

Every time I try to climb out of the pit,
After a long and hard battle against my personal demons,
I think, "At last, I have succeeded."
Alas! Misery loves company, right!?
Like crabs in a bucket,
Pulled back in,
To rot in hell for another eternity.
